It was as planned out as planned can be. Drag it on, let the prefab drama build, then shut it down.

    WWE could learn from May.

I guess man. I just think Floyd knows better than to string it out longer than needed. A guy only needs one punch. I think he was legitimately bothered the first few rounds and I feel it was because of good things McGregor was doing rather than a big planned out thing.

May has been in with the best. McG isn't anywhere close to being the best.

If May had to do it over again, I think it would play out pretty much the same.

How that shlt earned them 100's of mil of $$$$ each is beyond me.

I like Floyd. He has been in with a lot of great fighters. But never when they were really at their best. You and I both know he knew when to get guys, usually after, sometimes before, they hit their stride. I give him credit - worked it to perfection and made a billion probably.

McGregor was actually a different animal in a way because he was unorthodox in 3 ways - lefty, special kind of fighter anyway, and also no one had ever seen him in a boxing ring/no way to know what he would do.

He was also in his prime, and and much bigger and a bit stronger (in some ways) than Floyd. He also could really box, to my surprise. I think how big and good he was caught Floyd off guard. But I agree that Floyd probably knew Conor would gas late, he probably got that tip from Paulie is my guess. Everyone knows Conor has stamina issues anyway.

But doesn't change that Conor should have been up about 4-1 after 5 rounds.
