If Connor can't KO Paulie early he will gas late and get stopped even by Paulie. I was actually really impressed with Connor as a boxer, he clearly won a few rounds against Floyd and unbelievable as it seemed going in, should have probably been ahead on the cards at the time of the stoppage.

Great fighter, great personality, but I lose some respect for his inability to maintain his stamina in fights. As a pro that should be a given, and unfortunately it is his Achilles heel.

Granted he did win the first 4 rounds vs floyd I truly believe floyd was giving maybe 30% effort the first 4 rounds.

I respect your opinion...I honestly think Floyd was just naturally cautious/perplexed at first because 1) he was in there against a guy who was unorthodox in 3 ways (lefty; weird fighting style in general; and also no real tape on him as a boxer to know what he would do in the ring); 2) Conor was pretty significantly bigger than Floyd (imo); and 3) Floyd was old slow and inactive (relatively speaking).

But yeah I appreciate you acknowledging that of the first 5 rounds I think 4-1 Conor was pretty clearly the right score. And I understand anyone trying to rationalize that because thinking Conor would outbox Floyd for one entire round, let alone 4-5 was not something I was even considering going in. I honestly saw a little deer in headlights look for Floyd but we can agree to disagree.

Malignaggi and Conor should settle their beef in the ring.

Book a room and get it over with Already.

            This is becoming pretty cringeworthy.

Floyd wasnt even really trying. First he was trying to walk connor down and that's not how floyd fights. He was being the aggressor. Also in the showtime 24/7 show they showed between rounds Floyd's corner was saying just let him throw hell get tired and then take him out. That was there strategy. Floyd carried him

All I know is what I saw when I watched the fight...and I think Floyd realized he was old/slow (relatively speaking) and in there against a prime, big, tough, athletic, left-handed, high fight IQ guy.

And not being rude but those two views are a bit contradictory - saying his corner was telling Floyd to relax and let him throw himself out and he will get tired is kind of the opposite of saying Floyd carried him. The corner giving him that advice kind of backs up my view that Floyd was a little uncomfortable the first half of the fight.

pauline can only talk, mcnugget kicks his ass outside the ring and even in the ring, that's why pauline only talks, he won't back it up

pauline got his ass kicked by con for crying out loud, the same con who got his ass kicked by algieri and samuel vargas
