Akhmadaliev is a real threat to Roman...believe me. He ****ed Zarate up, but he can also be quite easily to hit and counter

First of Uzbekistan's 7 medalists at the last Olympics to get a title shot. Will be vying to become just the 3rd Uzbek to win a world title after Grigorian and Chagaev.

How can a fighter become mandatory challenger with such a thin resume? His promoter must have thrown serious money at the WBA to get him that spot. It's worth noting though that Murodjon turned pro one year after Conlan and Shakur Stevenson and he's already fighting for a world title. Conlan is three years older as well.

I have seen him in the amateurs, he's a good puncher, tough and physically strong but defensively flawed. He'll have a hard time beating a volume puncher with a good chin and some skills.

If he can beat Roman, it would be nice to see him against Stevenson later this year, as we very rarely see two former amateur standouts clash this early in their careers, and for a title.
