    Hatton vs Matthysse

Both in their prime @ 140. How do you see it?

I think hatton was severely overrated. Lucas would give hik a tough fight and maybe beat him. Itd look alot like the kosta tzyu fight. 50/50 fight for me. If manny and even floyd can knock him out then lucas sure as hell has a chance

Hatton wins a war, I think 7-5. Close but clear winner. Some might even give the win to Matthysse due to the competitive nature of the fight. There would be calls for a rematch and none would complain when it gets made again. Hatton once again edging another fight of the year candidate.

Lucas knocks him out, people overrated Hatton for beating a past prime Tzyu and then getting outboxed and out mugged and then stopped by Floyd and put to pastures by Pacquiao!

Lucas was robbed in 2 of his losses and had a clear case to get a DQ win from Postol who was constantly clinching him and doing dirty tactics all fight!

He pushed Danny Garcia to his limit and only loss by 2 points on the judges scorecards!

Beat prime Lamont Peterson better than anyone has
Beat high risk and low reward monster Provodnikov,
Beat Soto who was a 2 Division champ!

It would be a war in which Matthysse’s punching power and technique would prove too much for Hatton! 10th round stoppage for The Machine!

I disagree, if anything he's underrated. Hattons chin deteriorated from ballooning up and down with weight. Kostya was a massive puncher and Hatton walked through his best. Prime Hatton would maul Matthysse, he was relentless.

Hatton late stoppage... more tenacious, more stamina and more heart.

Lucas at his best was a hard fast accurate combination puncher. Hatton was an attacking clinching mauling hold and hit fighter who was easy to hit coming in and his chin was average. Lucas was strong enough to push Hatton off of him. Lucas was fast and accurate enough with his punches and combinations to hit Hatton when he came charging in to clinch and hold and hit. If the fight was anywhere but England I think a prime Lucas KOs a prime Hatton.

Hatton makes him quit. Prime Hatton at 140 was a monster and overwhelmed fighters like Matthysse. The Tzsyu that Hatton beat was still better than any version of Matthysse ever.
