How much did Wilder and Fury make for their fight including PPV cut?

I am just curious to how much these guys made for their fight including what they made from the PPV revenue.

I am assuming in the anywhere from $8-15 million for both guys. Not sure though. Anyone have a better idea?

If I knew how many buys the UK PPV did I would have a better idea. But by all accounts seems like both cleared $10 million.

U.K. ppv was low end because frank warren said it didn’t do as many as they would have liked.

You would hope it was 15 mil each at least given we know Joshua offered wilder that as absolute minimum

The Ppv broke even, and it did around 50k buys more than the breakeven, so pretty much all they got were their guarantees

Ducking Joshua to fight for half the money

I have no idea but I would like to know myself. If Wilder can make more money fighting AJ in England than he can rematching Fury then why not do that unless he doesn't think he will win. If he beats AJ he can rematch Fury later.

I will be shot down for this as i cant prove it but Fury got around 6 million and Wilder nearly or just did break 10. The split was not set at 50-50. I know the plan was to match Anthony Joshua figures and value but bias or no bias that was a bit of a big ask and they didnt manage it but what Wilder did manage to do was do very well from his 1st PPV. It didnt reach what they were hoping for but without setting such a high mark it was actually a good success.

On a related note: Has anyone heard anything more about Fury giving his earnings to charity? Or was that just a PR stunt

It was BS. They'd make a big song and dance about it and get the good publicity if he actually did it.

I doubt he would actually do that. I have no doubt that he could give some of it to charity doe. On the subject of earnings looking at the guarantees of each fighter, PPV cut, ticket and sponsorship I doubt anyone of them would make anything more than 7/8m dollars.

No, they would have cleared that if both got a 50/50 split.

                    US buys 325,000*75=24,375,000/2 = 12,187,500

                    Live gate $3.5-4 million

                    UK buys ~400,000*25.5 = 10,200,000/2 = 5,100,000

I estimated on the UK buys, but that is probably about right. If even less than that, I didn't take into consideration the international revenue and sponsorship money. Now, SHO/BT Sports will get their split as well as paying the UC fighters, but both guys should have cleared $10 million.

Now, I would love for someone to be able to give us the UK numbers. No clue why no journalist out there has done the research to find out.
