AJ fancies himself as the heavyweight Mayweather. Money Mayweather. He seems to me to want to fight all comers, but wants to work Hearn's money first approach more.
I dont think he has a 1% of the boxing skills of mayweather.
Do you care more about how much AJ makes than you care about who he fights? Many a fighter has eschewed max dollar to ensure that a legacy building fight is made. Are you giving AJ a pass on that?
Why not the challenger be less greedy and go for the glory.

In the past, challenger are known for glory hunt not wanting to steal from the champ through the media.
And looked terrible and got out boxed in most of those wins. His only significant win was against parker, and he needed to win the lottery with a head butt and cheating to sc**** through that. The rest of his opponents aren't even in top 20.

Whyte won the lottery against parker, and still ended the fight on his back seconds away from being counted out
Because a fight is competitive doesn't mean the guys competing are skillful, or putting on a display of talent. Chisora has been regarded as a gatekeeper for a few years now. Whyte losing on the cards until Chisora gassing and getting KO'd late doesn't change the fact that Whyte just isn't that good.
I am only a humble fan, but it seemed to me that Chisora improved a lot for the Takam and Whyte fights. Will be interesting to see how Whyte does later on to gauge his performance against Chisora. I think Whyte has improved as well. Would be great to watch him take on Ortiz or Povetkin...
