As a boxing fan, I can debate or disagree with whatever I want. This site isn't **** Germany. Who the fk are you to determine who should debate a topic or not?? I pay for worthwhile fights and if I feel that a fighter isn't facing worthwhile competition, I won't pay for it. If you want to spend your money on garbage fight cards then that's on you. As a boxing fan I can complain that there isn't enough quality match ups that are worth paying for and if you don't like it, stfu and move on from my comment.

I can tell by how poor your writing style is that you're not the most intelligent person. Likely a poor education which likely translates to a minimum wage taco bell kind of job. You don't need to worry about my finances, I'm doing more than fine. Part of the reason why is because I am selective with how I choose to spend my money. If there's a fight that's worth watching or paying for, I will. If the fight is an obvious cherry pick, I choose not to support it because that's something that simple and gullible fans such as yourself do. If you went into your pockets and spent the hard earned money that you made cleaning toilets on Canelo vs khan, Canelo vs Smith, and Canelo vs Chavez jr, then that just makes you an easily influenced fool, which is what promotors play up to. Maybe if more fans didn't pay for garbage, there'd be more of the fights that us REAL fans want to see and less trash like Canelo vs fielding. So my suggestion to you is, if you don't want to see a post from me where I complain about boxers cherry picking, you can block me. LOL....Jermall Charlo is the mandatory which is a fact & he should get the fights he wants which is Triple L & Nelo. 2 million views when YOU said they were not an attraction. Harrison is a tough dude from Detroit & had a good fight with Mell & it was close. I never said Andrade was a bum.

I said Andrade passes the EYE TEST. the eye test is just visual. But a fighter has to fight the fights. Lomachenko passed the eye test but got beat by Salido. Linares passed the eye test but got beat by Sergio Thompson and Antonio DeMarco. It’s a reason they actually have the fights instead of just talk about them and assume the better looking guy wins every time.

I don’t know if Andrade beats Golovkin.

I don’t know if Andrade beats Lara.

I don’t know if Andrade beats Cotto.

I don’t know if Andrade would have beat Charlo when they were scheduled either.

Yes. Andrade is a risk. Yea. Andrade has talent. Yea. I’d like to see Canelo Vs Andrade. All I was saying in my original post was Andrade has no room whatsoever to say “Canelo can’t just fight bums” like that is Canelos M.O. Canelo has a great resume. I don’t count wins over Khan Chavez Kirkland or Angulo as good wins at all. Keep the asterisk. Those are tune ups.

I count trout as a good win for the time that it took place.

Lara and Cotto were great wins. No asterisks. Close fights. I thought Alvarez lost both of them but they were close and debatable. Lara was prime. Cotto was still good and at a comfortable weight.

The wins over Golovkin were great. Again, thought Alvarez lost the first but clearly won the second. Tough tough fights.

And might I add that I would not have rather seen Andrade in the ring against Canelo instead of any of the fights I mentioned at that time. His time is coming. He is active now and getting screen time. He should fight Jacobs or Charlo or someone good to really put a stamp on that paper title he has right now before moving on to Canelo. But hey, if he keeps fighting bums because he can’t get anyone in the ring w him, do that until Alvarez is ready.

When Canelo and Cotto fought, Andrade was 2 fights removed from a split decision against Vanes Martirosyan. You can say you’re absolutely positive Andrade would have beat Cotto at that time. I’m not so sure. Is it possible ? Yea. But no I’m not so sure.

Also, Canelo also beat Lara, Trout, and Golovkin. He beat them. They were close fights, but close victories count too. Just because you or me don’t agree w a decision does not make it a robbery or put an asterisk next to it. That’s the Teddy Atlas syndrome where any decision that he doesn’t agree with is a robbery. Having said that, I DONT KNOW if Andrade would have beat them at the time Canelo fought them. Period. And that isn’t an absurd thing to say.

And again, Andrade has the chance to fight a top name in Charlo and passed. So miss me with the bs of “he can only fight so and so...” be strategic and manage your career properly and you could be in a better position.

BTW I thought Cotto beat Canelo. I thought Lara beat Canelo. I thought GGG beat Canelo first fight. All of them were close though so I’m not out here screaming the fights don’t count or have an asterisk cuz it didn’t go the way I saw. He gets credit for those wins. I'm a Mets fan and if they're not putting a quality baseball team on the field for whatever reason, I won't be spending my money to go to games. Can only season ticket holders complain that the team sucks it that the owners are trash? I'm a boxing fan and have spent more money on ppvs than I can recall. Since the Don King era of ppvs. So if I see an obvious mismatch or money grab as the main event, I won't support it because it's not worth it. Whether you like it or not, I can express that opinion. If you choose to blow your money on Canelo mismatches then that's on you. Knock yourself out and buy a Canelo vs lemieux ppv, but unless he's facing someone like jacobs or another worthy opponent, my money will remain in my pocket and utilized in more useful ways.
