I'd like to do a best and worst performance for both fighters but I can't really find anything to call a 'worst' performance of Plant, though obviously his opposition doesn't really stack up to Uzcateguis.

What we can see is that Jose will get hit by someone with skills, but tends to ride it out pretty well and just keep on coming... he was young when Korobov outclassed him and that was Matvey in his prime so for me that ain't really to be held against him. Big question for me is whether Caleb can keep his composure under the kind of high volume pressure that Jose brings... he did fine against a shopworn version of Porky who brings some similar things to the ring as Jose, but is now well past his best.

Lovely boxer vs puncher match up with two guys who appear to be fairly well physically matched and if Caleb just had a few more high level fights behind him that'd probably swing it for me, as it is... damn. Still not sure which way to jump. Gonna be a late pick for me to start off the year I think.

I'm kinda rooting for Plant, who couldn't with the shit with his kid, but he's just too much of an unproven commodity for me. Jose brings a heavy volume of firepower each and every time... he might not have the polish of some but he ain't just a slugger either.

I think Caleb does well early days and keeps Jose at bay for a few rounds but eventually the constant pressure starts to get to him.. perhaps he makes it to the finish line but if he does it'll be through just hanging on the last few rounds.
