    Some UK news...

-Disappointingly Callum Johnson has vacated the British title. Josh Buatsi vs Liam Conroy will be ordered for the vacant title.
Would have much rather seen Johnson vs Buatsi.

-Matchroom Newcastle Show on March 23rd, Lewis Ritson vs Andy Townend for the BBBofC 135 lb title and hopefully Kelly vs Avanesyan is rescheduled for this card.

-Isaac Chamberlain vs Craig Glover will likely be added to the Mar 30th Liverpool Show.
Also Scott Fitzgerald will have a tune up on the London O2 show in February before facing Anthony Fowler on the Liverpool card.

-Josh Wale will face Brad Foster for the vacant British 122 lb title on a Stefy Bull show in March.

I was hoping Johnson and Buatsi would fight for the title, and it would have been really interesting. I imagine Eddie's got him another fight in America after the hood show he put on against Beterbiev.

On the Beterbiev-Smith undercard apparently. He would’ve earned A LOT more facing Buatsi though.

I don’t get all this Johnson needs to fight at world level BS. His best win is Buglioni FFS, and when he did fight for a world title he got smashed in 4 rounds

I am sad to hear that even though I never heard of any of those British boxers.

Conroy? Why the **** are they mandating him? What happened to Yarde???? God damn most protected fighter in the entire sport, they absolutely DO NOT want that smoke from Buatsi.

It’s what the board have ordered, they make no comment on the status of Yarde which is strange.

I never expected to see Yarde-Buatsi anyway tbh, I’m more bothered we aren’t getting Johnson-Buatsi, I was really looking forward to that one

Was hoping to see Johnson-Yarde actually, but that looks even less likely now...

I'm glad people are waking up to Yarde a bit more now though. A year or two back it seemed like people thought he was the next big thing

Yarde’s clearly naturally talented but his level of opposition has been dreadful.

Him and Buatsi are exactly the same, both are obviously talented but we won’t know how good they actually are until they fight more capable opposition instead of international journeyman A, B or C

Warren was saying he's looking to bump Yarde up in level this year now, so fingers crossed

Warren told the board Yarde isn’t interested in fighting for the British title. So they didn’t mandate him and Buatsi. They moved on to the next best thing.
