To be honest, his best win is against a welterweight, S. Ali. Liam Smith isn't that good. It's really hard to gauge how good he is just yet. Anyway, 22 or not, he has a belt so you can't say don't throw him to the wolves just yet. If he isn't ready for the others he should give up his belt. He is as ready as he is going to be.

Put him in against Charlo, Harrison, Hurd. Andrade said he would take a big fight at 154. Lots of challenges out there. Time to step up and take them.

Munguia has some nice wins, but he’s lucky the Nevada Commission didn’t approve him for GGG fight last year. That would have derailed his win streak, but would have gotten him a good payday and good experience at world class level. I could see him beating 154 Charlo, but no chance against GGG or Canelo

Both Charlos are slightly better than hype jobs (though not elite) in my opinion, but I think 154 Charlo has too much power and speed to be stopped by Munguia.

I think Hurd also has defense issues that Munguia could exploit, though Hurd is elite and Muguia is up and coming. I pick Hurd by MD or late KO.

Regardless, I give Mungia credit for staying active and simply want to see him in the ring with someone of similar size and with some kind of power. His opponents this year have been smaller and have not been big punchers - which is clearly his promoter's MO.

If he can handle a strong puncher of decent size, maybe he is the real deal; in the mean time, he is an unproven title holder with potential.
Ok, I can agree about the Charlos n no I don't necessarily think they're hype jobs. Ive grown impatient with how they're matched I guess. Lubin, Jackson, Trout, solid solid wins. The top guys are competitive vs each other imo with the charlo having the media push.
MunguiaCharlo is stylistically intriguing though..could be a tactical shootout, slow at times with both wary of the others power.
