  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Prays Broner Resolves His Problems, Has A Good Life

Manny Pacquiao hopes Adrien Broner's nickname, "The Problem," doesn't take on a more detrimental meaning outside the ring than has already happened. Pacquiao expressed genuine concern for his upcoming opponent during his media availability Wednesday in Hollywood, California. When asked about Broner's pending legal issues, the deeply religious Pacquiao took a compassionate tone and expressed hope that those ordeals don't ruin Broner's life away from the boxing ring.

This isn't Manny Pacquiao the fighter, this is Manny Pacquiao the humanitarian says Larry Merchant. That's very cool of Pacquiao and it's one of the reasons people gravitate to him. He's just a nice guy outside of the ring. Sometimes it's personal inside of the ring for fighters and other times it's just business.

Agreed! Not sure why so many people like the ****y ****** type of personalities but the world would be a much better place with more "Mannys" outside of the ring.

That's very cool for Pacquiao to say about Broner. I hope Broner gets his act together maybe after Pac put them paws on Broner he'll mentor him afterwards lol

How cool would it be if Manny could become President of the Phils...and still be in the ring fighting.

Love him or hate him but when Manny wil leave boxing, he will be dearly missed. Floyd may have the better record but to the people, Manny will always be da people's champ.

When Manny got leveled by Marquez and he handled it with the class he did, that kind of showed me the measure of the man. No, he is not perfect. He has been bitter over the Mayweather fight. But overall, he is a good generous man who is true to his beliefs. Not many people are publicly wishing Broner well.

Well, Pac is really that kind of guy, love him or hate him, he is all business.
he wished for Broner's well-being on a personal level and not in the ring. so come fight night, he is still the punching Manny.

btw...this might be a psychological warfare tactic from team Pac.. Good guy vs Bad guy...

I followed Manny's career since his first title shot, he is a very humble guy.

that only time i didn't like his approach is when he is fighting the biggest fight of his career, and that is the FMJ-PAC fight, i just didn't like what he said like "God will deliver him (FMJ) to me" or something like that.. maybe that came from the Pastor side of him, but i dont think that was humble enough as if he is the righteous one of the two..

His comments are his own, but again overall, i still love the guy as a boxing legend.
