    He might not have been the best, but watching him fight Cotto with a broken jaw for 12 rounds is epic. He earned my respect in that fight.

      He was actually a very good boxer. He lacked the power to compete with the elite guys, but his boxing skills, conditioning and toughness were excellent. I don't think you've actually seen too many of his fights.The guys he beat to win those titles may not have been household names, but Paulie fought great to win both of his titles.

        Not gonna front, i saw his boxrec not the actual fights, but i was unaware he fought with a broken jaw.. That's toughness... So I give him that.... In regards to him looking good in his title clinching fights, well anyone can look good against tomatoes cans... Look at ggg lmao

          Well, I give you credit for admitting that you never actually saw his fights. That's a lot more than the average person in these forums would do. Still, I think you're one of those boxing fans/critics who believes there are only ATGs and tomato cans in boxing. You don't seem to have much respect for GGG, which makes me wonder what in life you actually respect. You may think GGG fought a bunch of tomato cans, but he certainly did pretty well in two outings against Canelo, one of the best (if not THE best) in the entire sport. You have a pretty high standard though, so maybe you think Canelo sucks too.

            No ggg is pretty Damn good.. Just not the monster the media, and his fans,made him out to be that's all. Ggg is alot better then paulie that's for damn sure.
