Maidana did to Broner what Forrest did to Mosley. Left him a clinching, hesitant, low output-having mess. Not only that, his power at or above 140 (aside from that one hook against Porter) has been non-existent. He always looks great in training camp, but in the actual fight, his skills don't look anywhere near where they should be, considering he's been boxing since he's a kid.

As someone already pointed out. He couldn't adjust to Porter or Garcia, and looked terrible vs what was supposed to be lesser opposition. If he doesn't force Pacquiao to fight in the pocket (the only place he's comfortable letting his hands go these days), he has no chance to win. Even at his age, Manny has more mobility and better footwork than Broner.

I would love to see Broner get K'd TFO and that's real talk, but Pacquiao isn't at his best either, he's actually at his worst.

you're right, pacquiao isn't nearly at his best. thats been the case for quite some time. i would even argue the manny from 5 years ago is vastly different from the one we see today

but i think (chalk it up to freak genetics, or who knows) manny is about as preserved a FORTY year old fighter could be considering all the wars hes been in. I mean, hes slowed down quite a bit and his volume has dipped dramatically. but he still has the ability to fight hard for 12 rds and is still sharp and active enough to beat a fighter like broner. basically if you're not bigger and stronger than manny , or a master counterpuncher/technician pac can still work his game and outbox you.
