In my opinion you can't be the top dog anymore after a 2 year lay off...you are not the same fighter after that. Beat someone good and you reclaim that spot again but untill then I don't think Thurman is #1

They know the politics! All the other champions (WBC, WBA-Super, WBA-Regular, IBF) are with Haymon/PBC! Crawford is with Top Rank/ESPN! No Bueno! That's why Crawford wants Amir Khan! Biggest name at WW not managed by Al Haymon!

EXACTLY RIGHT!!! They wanna see if someone can do it first before they take a chance fighting him.

Agreed but I think Crawford should fight Thurman first and the winner fights Spence.

I think before Thurman got hurt that would be right. I still need to see how he recovers before putting him back at the top. Thurman pretty much beat the top WW's before getting hurt. But make no mistake he doesn't want to fight Spence, I think Keith would fight Bud before he fought Spence if given the choice.

                  Floyd was.

                  Sugar Ray Leonard.

                  And most recently Tyson Fury.

I didn't consider Fury the top dog anymore when he fought Wilder. He was not the same fighter as he was before
