Pathetic. Spence struggled with Brook until the eye started tweaking again!

Spence biggest advantage is that he comes in weighing 20 pounds bigger than the competition. His technical skills are nothing special, he is just a basic fighter that squeezes to make 147.

Crawford and Thurman will expose him, just wait his time is coming.
I agree with you. Spence actually takes a lot of shots. As I see it, both Crawford and Thurman will move and force Spence to reset his feet and he'll get clipped coming in. People give Spence crazy credit because Floyd had a hard time sparing but that's only because Floyd's SPECIFIC style was to lay on the ropes and counter. Spence is big and has a long range pressure style similar to Paul Williams and Floyd had trouble with that SPECIFIC style of fighter. If you look at the fighters that challenged Floyd you will notice they were strong pressure fighters that Floyd couldn't stop. In the end, Styles make fights and Spence getting the better of Floyd doesn't mean he's God it means he has a particular style and size to give Floyd problems. On the other hand if you look at the fighters that gave Paul Williams fits you'll notice they move, used angles and hit hard enough to stop his aggression. Off subject, I believe Paul Williams was better than Spence and likely the best Welter Weight of his era. He never received proper recognition because he got screwed by the sanctioning bodies and his advisors.

I think Spence gets hit too much. That's probably what Mikey sees in his game. ESJ doesn't slip punches or use movement very well not to mention he has very little head movement. He needs to tighten up on those things. I'm still picking Spence to win this fight but I also wouldn't be surprised if he struggled some in this fight.

I think I know what mikey sees. Not sure but here it goes, when Spence jab is slipped n they they slip low he drops his left hand. I think a significant portion of Mikeys gameplan will have to be inside.

I'm very interested in the strategy and hes one of the fighters who can pull it out.

Mikey aint beat nor fought nobody as good as Shawn Porter. Kell Brook has! Mikey is just a more accomplished fighter. Nicca said it out his own mouth he didn't even feel like a champion for so long (cause he knew he was in weak divisions), that's why he want Errol among other things.
Huhh??? Lipnets won like 1 round and got DROPPED and almost again in round 12. Brook was BROKEN by GGG. Mikey is WAY better than Brook if you watched boxing you would know this.

Mikey is P4P ranked by almost EVERYONE excepts clowns and casual fans.

When has Brook ever been considered P4P?? And he had to hold on for dear life against Carson Jones LMFAO.

Paul Williams was for sure a bad dude. Spence is a different fighter though. Not nearly as long. Spence is like a mid range fighter and Spence isn’t as offensive as Williams was. I remember Williams just threw a sh#t ton of punches and outworked his opponents. Spence just seems to take his time more.

Mikey isn't even a 'big' lightweight, ffs. The natural size difference is going to be too much without Mikey testing the waters out first as a 147 lb fighter. He's got dinosaur arms compared to Spence.

Mikey is very technical and always seems to be in the right spot just at the right time. I dont think Spence will wins iif he goes in there trying to walk Mikey down like a bull. Might look like the Saunders/Lemuix and Ronda Rousey/Holly fight.

The fight was over the second it got signed. Even if Mikey figures that Spence doesn’t have a real good defense, he’s not going to be big enough to exploit it. Anything Mikey lands, Spence is just gonna walk through.
