Tureano Johnson passed from the mandatory against Golovkin due to injury, so Dominic Wade was next in line for mandatory and so Golovkin took the fight.

I'd rather see Canelo vs. Jacobs or Andrade, *BUT* the $$$ is right for both Canelo and Lemieux here. It's Lemieux's biggest payday and Canelo gets his with relatively little risk.

Maybe in September? I think all this talk about Lemieux is to judge the reaction. Just like Hearn throwing out the possibility of Joshua vs. Miller in NYC! However, where there's smoke, there's fire! Well there's a lot smoke (Cheech & Chong levels) coming from GBP regarding Lemieux!

But now bro ...the fighters have risen their stock big time since. I believe it will do well. GGG and Canelo have made the elite level of middile weights to all have a great or decent at least PPV turnouts. IMO
