  • Comments Thread For: Whyte Feels Joshua is Looking For Easier Fights, Avoiding Danger

Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte is putting Anthony Joshua on the spot. He believes the IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO world champion is now at the point of avoiding danger and taking easier fights for big bucks. Last month, Whyte knocked out Dereck Chisora in their anticipated rematch at the O2 Arena in London.

I don’t think Miller is an easier fight per say but it’s a fight that Miller doesn’t deserve now purely based on his resume.

Joshua has had hard fight after hard fight, and this narrative is nonsense. He fought Whyte, Breazelle when he didnt have to, and had fought Klitschko, an unbeaten Parker and Povetkin. How has Whyte done any better? Parker was an AJ retread, Browne had beaten no one and Chisora hasn't been top ten for years. Miller isnt a terrible fight compared to the guys this lot are fighting.

Boxing fans have known this all alone. That's why he rejected the Wilder fight and doesn't believe in taking risks inside the ring or fight outside of his comfort zone in the U.K because he is a protected fighter.

He takes the path of least resistance. He is not a legacy fighter; A fighter who is going to give the fans the fights that they demand to see.

He is a money fighter; A low risk high reward fighter. A fighter who often fights diminished, limited and over matched opponents for the most amount of money. That sums up his business model.

I including many of British boxing fans thinks Joshua is still the best at heavyweights.

How can you repeat the same rhetoric on every thread when Wilders himself says AJ is "begging" for the fight? Wtf is Wilder who hadn't fought anyone with a name until his 39th fight, AJ's resume is non-comparable to Wilders 22 fights deep.

            Get your head checked.

A simple google search would show that wilder faced a former world heavyweight champion in his 29th fight. He then won the world heavyweight title in his 33rd fight. You Hearn blowers just regurgitate the same talking points hoping nobody actually calls you on it?

But keep comparing resumes. Nobody gives a ****. AJ fans keep screaming how he’s the a side and how he has a better resume, but end of the day he ducked the wilder fight, and no matter how many times you say the word “resume” that won’t change.

Whyte all up in the media more than Hearn these days. He's definitely trying to get something happening for himself.

He ain't done shit since defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2017 and that's a fact. Meanwhile, Wilder has given us boxing fans Ortiz and Fury all in the same calendar year of 2018. Let's see how Joshua tops that.

Liakhovich?! The guy that had no successful defenses and was coming off back to back losses to Helenius and Jennings before Wilder fought him? Did you really want to bring this guy up like some acheivement? You should be ashamed of yourself.

Also you have an unhealthy obsession with Hearn, you should get over him because I never mentioned the guy.

You still won't address the fact that Wilder says AJ is begging for the fight.
