how much is garcia getting for the spence fight? been following him and mares since the amateurs. never really saw them as guys who would do the sport like that. but who knows money does change people.

I'm really disappointed because Mikey has been more about the money lately. Both he and Mares are favorites of mine but Mikey was alluding to a really lucrative, really crazy fight that he was offered, for about a year. Then it turned out to be this. i really wish him the best and think he has the smarts to give Spence trouble, but Spence is so damn rugged and strong, he's the wrong guy to try to do this to.

If Mikey's power can keep Spence honest, he might just pull this off. I think Spence Jr is an easier fight for Garcia than Pac. Yes, Pac is old Spence is young and stronger. But, old Pac is more skilled and experienced than Spence. Also, Pac is quicker than Garcia or Spence. Spence ko's Pac if they fight though, his power is too much for oldman Pac.

A lot of people think it is noble because he is such a huge under-dog. It is kind of a win-win for him though, so not noble in that sense.

He didn't want Pacquiao because he said he would get no credit because of Pac's age, but in reality it was kind of a no-win situation for him. He is expected to win, but exposed if he doesn't.

He didn't pick Crawford either, partially because of Arum, but also partially because Crawford beat him pretty handily in the amateurs. Stylistically he has a better chance vs Spence, but has to fight the perfect fight.

The Loma fight will still be there, and he will try to lure Loma up to 140 I'm guessing, and call him afraid if he doesn't. Again, tough fight for Mikey. If he loses he loses credibility. I still hope it happens.
