so mikey says he see something from the previous spence fight that he's sure he can capitalize on and that's why he took the fight. obviously big bro robert aint see it based from these interviews. pops aint see either that's why they wanted mikey to avoid spence!

now how the fvvvck does a trainer train not only his fighter, but his own brother for a fight that he doesnt feel 100 with? like when robert is doing the mitts with mikey there's gotta be times when he locks eyes with mikey and just think to himself like "damm wtf am i doing" "fvvvvvccckkk" "am i really gonna put my lil bro thru this"..

i mean if yall has younger bros, how do you feel about this? i mean it was cool to send ol'margarito in for a kamikaze attack against pac since they aint blood related but damm sending your own lil bro out and even training him for a mission like this?

I'm sure he does see something & I think this fight will be more competitive than most, but idk that I think there is some Death Star type hole in Spence's game that Mikey can Luke Skywalker him into submission with or that Spence won't be able to adjust to.

with the margarito/pac fight, robert was sending him in against a much smaller fighter. pacs about 5 inches shorter and 20 lbs lighter than margs, while yes he was an absolute dynamo at this stage of his career u can atleast hang ur head on the size diff

with the mikey/spence fight robert has no excuse here. mikey is best suited for the lightweight division. hes supremely all around skilled so the first 6 rds will be competitive as mikey is still fresh enough to work his boxing game. but spence is a big welter and probably could fight at 54, spence power overwhelmed brook whos as big welter in his own right. in the mid to late rds spence power is gonna start showing up on small mikey, and hes going to get bombed outta there.

weight classes exist in boxing for a reason. this is brook/ggg all over again

If Mikey is getting hurt too much they will throw in the towel unless Spence bombs him out quickly with one or two big punches.

Spence kinda like GGG doesn't like to be pushed on the back foot, Spence has a little hole in his defense, you can fairly check him with right hands down the pipe.

Mikey prob thinks with his Conte training he will be strong enough to push him, pivot to his right side and pressure him with his right hand.

I m sure Mikey plan isn't to stand in front of Spence in the center of the ring or running ala Floyd, either would be suicidal.

Mikey will have to go through fire to do so.

I feel bad for Mikey because even a big strong guy like brook barely got Spencer's respect with his power, so I dunno about Mikey.
