Lol Porter is going to fight Thurman next, not Spence.

I think if Thurman beats Josesito Lopez, he will fight the winner of Pacquiao vs. Broner! Like I said earlier, don't sleep on Yordenis Ugas!

Boxing fights we want to see in 2019

      January 4, 2019:

      Manny Pacquiao vs. Keith Thurman

Now, this is assuming that Pacquiao defeats Adrien Broner on January 19. If he does, the most well-known senator from the Philippines will focus his attention on another crack at one Floyd Mayweather, which quite frankly, brings about audible groans from most boxing fans.

Sorry, been there, done that. And unlike Canelo-GGG, the first installment of Mayweather-Pacquiao was a dud. This is the kind of fight that you don't make a sequel to.

But Pacquiao (60-7- 2, 39 KO), at age 40, facing one of the young guns is still very fascinating.

With him signing on with Premier Boxing Champions, he has a few options. And Thurman (28-0, 22 KO), the one time unified welterweight world titleholder, would be an entertaining pairing. It will be interesting to see how Thurman looks on Jan. 26, as he comes off what is nearly a two-year layoff to face Josesito Lopez (36-7, 19 KO).

How will this protracted layoff effect the 31 year old Thurman? And what does Pacquiao have left at this stage?

Fight Lejarraga, if you have balls, not a small Mikey Mouse.

Mikey gonna beat-down Errol “The Baby Seahorse” Spence very ugly. Spence May well be this era’s Sugar Ray Leonard, But he gotta get by this era’s Duran (the 1st Leonard v Duran Duran). Roberto jumped 2 divisions n boned the much bigger Ray. How do y’all like THEM apples? “ *******” Spence on VADA will have a meager 5 pound advantage entering the ring. He went in last fight at 156. He ain’t THAT big. Oh don’t get scared now Spence-riders. It’s on. Spence gonna get a taste of how a REAL Mexican gets down. War Mikey! Remember all that “Spence” spars with the Charlos” BS? “Steel sharpens steel”? Well the Charlos have been exposed as aluminum and rusted aluminum at that. So Errol ain’t really all that now is he??? Put on top of all that the fact Errol is now an alcoholic according to whispers in his camp. Hanging with them drunks the Charlos n Broner n Gervante, what do you expect? All this spells brutal n dominant KO victory for Mikey. He got that next level shznitt he hasn’t had to use yet. Spence used all he has got vs Brook. Imagine Mikey with his back against the wall? OOoooooooweeee! That Mexican gonna go caveman Aztec Warrior on homey. And ain’t nobody tasted that from him yet. Watch n see. Lol
          are you drunk??

Cmon bro, only way Mikey blows up is if he beats Spence, which aint gonna happen. Spence is too big, strong and an overall good fighter. Mikey is biting off way more than he can chew. After the fight, Spence will be in no better position than he already is, because he beat up on a lightweight

Platform matters, especially when it leads to a Pacquiao fight.

I can dig it, BUT, Pac will fight Thurman before Spence. Better reward, less risk...

Its hard for me to see spence breaking out as a huge ppv star in 2019. I am a huge spence fan and the fact is he is just wayyyyy to inactive to be a breakout ppv star in 2019.

The way i would think it works is, the fighters who are on their way to becoming huge ppv stars have to be ACTIVE! They should be fighting 3
or even 4 times per year!. Then once they become that HUGE ppv star, they can drop down to 2 fights per year.

Spence is still an up and comer, he is no where near a huge yppv star. There are still many many people who dont even know who spence is. He basically fought 7 full rounds in all of 2018. He fought ONCE in ALL of 2017 which was 10.5 rounds and he fought twice in 2016!!!!

The last year he was active was in 2015 when he fought 4 times that year.

I cant see him becoming a floyd like superstar in 2019.

But then again who knows, what i do know is that as a spence fan, his inactivity is ANNOYINGGGG AF!!!!
