If Garcia beats Spence, does Loma have the gonads to challenge Mikey @ 147?

    Thoughts?

Loma physically can't go up that high. He is already maxing out and undersized at lightweight.

If they fight it will be at a lower weight for sure.

He shouldnt have to because he’s almost reached his ceiling as far as weight is concerned. Unless Arum is going to allow the fight without putting options on Garcia, fight isnt happening.

If Mikey beats Spence, he'll pray to whomever he prays to and thank them for the blessing of having Mikey Garcia move on and not wreck what little bit of company he still has to build on.

Mikey would likely immediately move into a fight with Pacquiao (were he to beat Broner), and then likely angle for a fight with the Thurman-Porter 2 winner for the WBC/WBA/IBF 147lb titles and let it be known to Crawford/Top Rank that there isn't going to be 50/50 on ****; Mikey will be the new PPV star for however long he still wants to fight, likely next to the Wilder-Fury-Joshua winner as Canelo slides further and further from the public's conscience by fighting on that app.

Lomachenko will now stay at 135lbs, eye Commey for the IBF, wait on whomever ends up with the WBC (Luke Campbell is close to being mandatory), cycle through the mandatories as a ESPN/ESPN+ fighter, and hope against hope that Gervonta Davis doesn't fall off before they fight in Lomachenko's first headline PPV.

Loma will have the balls to face Mikey, it just means Errol Spence wasn't as good as we thought he was and Mikey becomes a much, much bigger legacy fight.

If Mikey actually beats Spence, then Loma isn't beating him at 147, 140 OR 135.

Mikey really should he at 135 himself... has looked flabby at 140. don’t know why people maks the excuse for Loma.

He needed a tuneup in Pedraza before Mikey and that was at 35. He’ll never move to 47. He IS too small...however, Mikey is too.

It’s a 50/50 fight at whatever weight but it wouldnt make sense for Loma to move up to 47 as they’re both ideal at 35.

Of course not. Don't be ridiculous. Loma is a natural featherweight who has already moved up too high. He would fight Mikey at 135 were Mikey was just before he signed to fight Spence. He won't fight Mikey at 140 or 147 nor should he. Mikey is a much bigger man.
