It was a close fight...yet all I read is robbery or dubious decision.

The only dubious thing here is the wide scores. Any result would have been acceptable. Draw, Nietes win or Ioka win.

All this controversy is just because of that 118-110 bs card. If it had been at least 115-113 no one would be whining

It was close fight. Respect to both fighters. Nietes had the more telling blows for sure esp those counters. The dominant Ioka that fought Arroyo never surfaced. He was very wary about Nietes' counter punches.

If Nietes is still not included in the P4P list, definitely that that list is biased and ****ty. 4 Division Champ and no defeat since 2004. A champion for over a decade and claiming those 4 belts with multiple defenses.
If some fighter can get into that list with even just 1 championship belt, how much a fighter with this kind of resume.

Last i look he was in the 10th spot of the p4p rankings. With this win they better move him up.

I thought Nietes did enough to win a UD. But, the 118-110 Nietes, 116-112 Ioka scores were questionable imo. No way Nietes won 10rds or Ioka winning 8. A rematch should be in order. Both Nietes and Ioka are very clean fighters. Easy night for Robert Byrd.
