    Canelo vs GGG 3

I strongly believe this will be the fight that will be made simply because from a business perspective this is best for DAZN and they have the resources to get what they want.

Idk why there was some backlashes all you have to do is watch the first two fight to know that the third fight is going to be a great great fight.

I for one am jacked up for a Canelo vs GGG 3 fight!!!! Bombs away ladies and gentlemen.

Nobody knows who Canelo fights next until Oscar tells us who it is. Lots of posters have said the know who Canelo's next opponent will be because of some insider's tip or other such nonsense but they don't know. Oscar said he doesn't know yet so how could they know what Canelo's promoter doesn't know? I am just guessing Canelo fights GGG next because it's the fight that makes the most money and it's the fight the most fans including myself want to see.

      from the other thread.....

If they tried to do that GGG would have told them to go *** themselves and there would have been no huge money making rematch. They tried to give GGG a 60/40 split and he refused and the fight almost never happened. They were forced to give GGG 45% or go fight somebody else and make much less money. They made the obvious correct choice and gave GGG what he asked for. You seem to forget GGG was the champion and Canelo had no title and was the challenger. If they had tried to lowball him with an insulting 15 million offer Canelo would not get the chance to win GGG's belts and make the money only the GGG rematch would make him.

also, Canelo needed an opportunity to "erase the issues that he had in May" ~ Abel Sanchez

but, that is not the situation now

how much do you think Golovkin makes in a trilogy fight?

regardless as to what he got paid in the rematch, Canelo is the superstar..... not Golovkin

Canelo needed the rematch, but he does not need a trilogy fight at all

      * he is the current middleweight champion
      * he has a $365M deal with DAZN
      * he has vindicated himself of the clenbuterol issue

what % would Golovkin make in a trilogy fight?

      my guess is....

based purely on numbers.... at 35%, they would be over-paying Golovkin..... so a trilogy fight is unlikely to ever happen

Maybe DAZN will offer a big flat fee or something like that, or subsidise something to make GGG and Canelo an offer they can't refuse. It's not PPV anyway if it's DAZN, so the emphasis might not be on %, so maybe they can work out a different kind of deal. It's a subscription based service, so any broadcasting revenue cannot be measured to the exact fight like it can with PPV. So in that sense, what is the use in a %?

DAZN need subscribers, Canelo v GGG 3 is still by far the biggest fight for Canelo, realistic fight anyway, nothing really comes close right now.

Maybe they will pay over the odds to make that fight in the name of marketing their brand and getting subscribers.

It's one thing having Canelo fighting on DAZN, but they also need to offer fights people want to see and that's the biggest fight.

I'm not interested in seeing an even older Golovkin run for 12 more rounds.

I really see no point in a 3rd fight, but hey if they can make money from it then they will
