There are some good fight reviews on Youtube, a few people seem to be able to disassemble a fight and point out who did what in detail. It can be fascinating if the technical aspect appeals to you.

Boxingscene has a schedule at the top, just click the tab. Just try to keep up with the shows. Espn, Dazn, fox and showtime are the primary networks and apps to follow. If you do not know about a fighter, you can find his record on boxing record through google, and just wattch highlights of his last couple fights to see how he is. or go on youttube and find the full fights.

Could somebody explain which divisions have the best mainstream fights and which governing body ( wbo, wbc) is the most important? Please no ignorant comments lol. Welcome to the board buddy. As far as orgs go, the WBC is the most prestigious and the IBF is my personal favorite. They will inforce their mandatories no matter what and are the only governing body with a strict rehydration rule for title fights. Their rankings aren't always the best, but a lot of it in my opinion has to do with fighters not wanting to have to face their responsibilities.

Divisions to watch are the welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. Cruiserweight used to be good when Usyk was fighting, but I personally think it's overrated. Fighters to watch are the Ukrainian trio, Lomachenko, Gvozdyk and Usyk along with a few Americans like Terrence Crawford and Errol Spence. Canelo Alvarez, despite being very unpopular among a certain subset of fans, is also one of the most skilled and interesting fighters to watch and one of my personal favorites.

As far as heavyweights go, Tyson Fury is the most interesting and skilled, Wilder is the most dangerous and explosive though technically limited and Anthony Joshua is the most polished. Lower weight classes can get interesting, but the talent pool is pretty thin. My personal favorite lower weight fighters are Lomachenko, Tank Davis, Naoya Inoue and Tevin Farmer. But I would be lying if I told you that I was an expert on lower classes, smaller fighters are just not my thing.

The WBA and WBC started in the 1960s. The IBF and WBO started in the 1980s. The WBA and WBC were reboots of organizations from the 1920s. The IBF and WBO were spin offs of the WBA.

There are lots of other organizations too, but those are the four recognized world titles in boxing.

As for weight classes, it just depends on where you live. The smallest weight classes are very popular in Asia and certain Latin American countries. Some of the newer weight classes like cruiserweight and super middleweight tend to be more popular in Europe.

The most prestigious weight classes are typically the oldest weight classes. Heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight and lightweight for example.

none of the 4 belts mean more than the other, the wilder fans just started saying that cause they couldnt handle wilder having 1 and joshua having 3. in fact the wbc is probably the most corrupt out of the lot. heavyweight is probably the most commercial division now, light heavyweight is the one to watch, welterweight is the glamour division but the top guys wont fight each other they have to 'marinate' first and their cheerleader fans promote that

The WBC has been regarded as the most prestigious belt since forever lol. Nothing to do with Wilder. But I do know a few Joshua fans are trying to legitimize that IBO title.
