Did no one explain to Floyd what an exhibition is?

The show was funded by the Japanese mafia. It wasn't about profit. There's no way to make a profit on what they paid Mayweather when the fight wasn't allowed to air in the US.Comment

Perhaps they may have made money...but was it smart? did it tarnish the branding/confidence of Tenshin?
Anyways, like I said they wanted it, lots of people tuned in and it created a buzz. Good for Floyd for making some money...Comment

This might be the biggest payday and definitely the most exposure in America both RIZN and he have ever had. I don’t think it hurts him kickboxing wise at all.
Floyd pimps the game yet again.Comment

He isn't a poor kid. He is a fighter who has knocked out many opponents himself. He made a public statement before the fight that he would try to knock Mayweather out. Why shouldn't Mayweather try to knock him out? They paid Mayweather to demonstrate his boxing skills not to carry his opponent with gentle lovetaps. Mayweather did what he was supposed to do and his opponent knew the risks when he took the fight. Mayweather didn't ruin his career. That's ridiculous. Fighters get knocked out all the time and go on to have a great career. Mayweather did nothing wrong and you are trashing him for no reason.Comment
