Davis probably waiting till Loma is done. Assuming he even lasts that long considering his stock could go pretty easily.

I doubt for at least 2 years. Davis is young, and they'll wait for Lomachenko to show significant signs of slowing down before even entertaining that. Loma's skills are built on reflexes and speed. By ~33-34, he wont be nearly the same fighter he is now.

Now Loma is probably already booked with his next two fights facing Commy/Berchalt/Crolla.

But late 2019 or early 2020 it should happen at the latest.
Not any time soon if at all. I don't see it happen ever really. Ellerbe and all the other dumb a$$es know he's not Mayweather who actually WILL fight the best. They know this will be a loss and that will hurt $$.

The difference is Davis hasn't beaten anybody.

Loma would beat him quite easily imo.

Not anytime soon. Like Floyd said, there's no rush for Davis. It's Loma that needs this fight. He's old with a weak legacy. Davis is young, he's still green, and he's still dumb as ****. And I don't think he beats Loma, but the point is he doesn't need this fight right now the way Loma does. He can afford to let it marinate, let it build. He makes more money, his skills grow while Loma's decline. Loma doesn't have the option.

its up to loma. if he gets knocked out he gets the fight. lets see what he chooses to do but don't blame davis if loma remains conscious that means he doens't want the fight and is ducking.
