fighters to watch in 2019 (Vol 1)- JOE JOYCE

Joe Joyce turned professional in 2017 and has looked every bit the star he was touted to be after a glittering amateur career, going 7-0 (7 kos).

Joyce has shown himself to be very heavy handed and is stopping his opponents in quick fashion, although has not fought a fighter resembling world level as of yet.

At the age of 33 2019 is likely to be a big year for 'the juggernaut' although his most difficult fight appears to be getting an opponent in the ring with him, as the rest of the division wonder whether he is worth the risk/reward.

Although the heavyweight division is on fire at the top, there is a significant lack of depth to the division beyond the top 5 which would allow Joyce to move up the rankings very quickly with one or two wins.

What will 2019 have in store for joyce?

Joyce is rather old in his bloom, but surely Schaefer can provide good fights in 2019

His speed seems to be his slight weakness, but he has a good engine and seems quite durable. He will bully most heavyweight just due to his size and basic skills/determination. Seem abit of a clubbing type hitter also, George Foreman type style.

A boxer is in his physical prime between 24 and 29 and by 30 they may by a little past prime. Why did he turn pro at 33 instead of 21?
