Comments Thread For: Ito Stops Chuprakov In 7th Round, Retains WBO 130-Pound Title

Masayuki Ito overwhelmed Evgeny Chuprakov on Sunday.
Japan's Ito pressured Chuprakov throughout their scheduled 12-round, 130-pound title bout and stopped him in the seventh round at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo. Referee Laurence Cole stopped the action with 43 seconds to go in the seventh round, at the request of Chuprkov's corner men.

Takuma Inoue with the WBC and big brother Naoya is my pick to win the entire bantamweight tourny.

I guess we won't be getting an undisputed champ at 118. Guess I'll just keep hoping for Inoue vs SSR after the tourny before Inoue moves up to 122 and retires Rigo.

Inoue has 3 knockouts in a lot of fights. Freshmart is beyond limited and bullies beginners. Nothing praiseworthy about him.
