Devin Haney is linked to Victor Conte and SNAC. Most people feel they are cheats. Willie Monroe Jr. and Martin were recently caught by VADA. Odd mix

Yes, Wich was a correct choice, unlike Haney.

This is a bad choice when you get facts together, starting with Lopez another prospect who did better Vs Meynard.

Haney is not even the best prospect in his own division.

If he wasn't an American Vegas media hyped fighter he wouldn't get that title.

Some prospects with amateur pedigree or not, are doing better in pros than Haney who looked bad in his last fight against a journey man.

It's hard to say who is better between Lopez and Haney imo. Different styles. I think both are clearly better than the rest of the young crop of fighters though.

Ennis looks very good too. Really too early to tell for any of them. I know Lopez's father needs to stop mentioning Loma. He'll ruin his son going that route lol

            Good stuff Haney's a beast

Haney, Lopez and KingRy are all worthy of winning the award IMO.

I think Teofimo Lopez got screwed here by BoxingScene.

How do you figure that he is no longer a prospect because he beat Mason Menard, who Devin Haney also beat this year?

Yeah I don't get it either. They're of similar age and with similar resumes. No idea what they mean by

EDITOR’S NOTE: BoxingScene.com’s awards panel determined Teofimo Lopez has surpassed the prospect stage, despite that he has just 11 professional fights. Otherwise, the undefeated lightweight would’ve received serious consideration for this award. And yes, we realize Devin Haney has nine more pro bouts on his record than Lopez.

Looked bad? He won almost every round vs a solid vet. Mikey didn’t knock that guy out
