It was no shock Maidana beat Broner. For me it was surprise Broner wasn`t stopped.

Only one problem with that comparison. Davis will be a busier fighter with combinations and power shots against Mares than Broner ever was against Maidana. And Davis will press the action and go for the stoppage instead throwing 1 or 2 pot shots every round and being on the defensive most of the fight.
