Looking at the 168 rankings, I see Ryder high up there but I believe he will be fighting Eubank Jr next?

Lennox Allen is the WBA Gold champion or whatever the hell that is so I'm guessing he gets the call next lol.

Yeah, think Eubank Jr vs Ryder is still happening. He's supposed to be fighting again in the US in December, probably marinate the Lennox Allen fight til then, lol.

Callum Smith is seen by most as the best 168 pounder but he really won't have a chance to prove it. His resume is pretty bare and he turned down the BJS fight. I doubt he gets Plant or Benavidez anytime soon as those two seem to be on a collision course for 2020. If Bivol sticks around on DAZN, I would love to see that fight between the two either at 168 or 175. Once Smith goes up to 175, he will have more options, especially when Buatsi gets to world class level.

        • Really impressive for fury to take on Povetkin in his first fight of the deal with matchroom, he has really gone up in my view of him, he has real balls having fought Parker and Pulev away from home already and still being only 24!

Only AJ near the top of the rankings is anywhere near him really in terms of high level opposition and even then AJ is much older

Shame Povetkin didn't fancy it against the Gypsy King though. Will lead to a pretty big mismatch for Tyson in his next fight.

Hughie does seem willing to fight anyone so props to him. He is missing that something extra to get him over the hump, but he is hard style to look good against. Needs to be a bit busier to have a chance against Povetkin.

                  Sauerland. He's just a prospect.
