Lol. Dillian Whyte has basically been the place opponent for April since at least after when Hearn/Joshua tried to pull the double-cross and lock in the low-ball offer for a fight an interim fight and a full six months after Wilder was willing to accept the short money for.

If you're the most generous to Hearn about it, Dillian Whyte has been the opponent since Wilder-Fury happened, the fight ended up being a truly compelling fight, and the "blow your socks off" offer that was supposed come right after the fight never actually came.

It's ridiculous that folks are going along with the song and dance by Eddie Hearn

Fury or even H. Fury or Ortiz or Povetkin rather than a rematch.
It's a mix of both as being a boxer is a short(and dangerous) career, so the fighters should try and maximise their monetary gain.
All promoters should do that for their fighters as 'legacy' won't pay the bills when they retire, but there is a credibility gap with Eddie and AJ's opponents after the success of Wilder/Fury.
I personally believe Tyson Fury is 'the man' in the HW division but we must see the AJ/Fury/Wilder triumvirate play out and make this a Golden Era for the sport as a whole. That is good business.

Whyte has earned that position and it should not be taken from him. No other HW deserves Joshua apart from Whyte save for Fury

We see thru you Edwards, AJ vs Whyte is a garbage fight!

He won’t be fighting Fury or Wilder anytime soon, like i said, hopefully Whyte knocks him out and rids him of the belts that he’s been holding for hostage!

Actually I hope it’s a double knockout, Whyte ducked Pulev and then ducked King Kong Ortiz not just once but twice!

I mean we all knew Wilder and Fury were going to fight again. We knew Miller wasn't getting the fight. And they never even entertained Ortiz so Whyte was the obvious choice here.
