Still, that'd clear up things at 154lbs in a way; with the title vacant, Dennis Hogan (no idea if he can fight; 28-1 with 7 KO's...) is the #1 challenger, Julian Williams is the #2 challenger, the current #3 inoue likely gets beat by Munguia, Kell Brook is #4 (he's almost certain for a return to 147), and Erislandy Lara is #5.

Hogan-Williams goes to bid, and if JRock wins, the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO 154lb belts will all be in the Haymon orbit of fighters, with the vast majority of the top contenders at 154 with Haymon too.

If Canelo fought him next he would be accused of fighting a smaller inexperienced opponent. Every day there is a thread saying who Canelo fights next.
