The statements don't match. Finkel said Wilder accepted an offer from Hearn but Hearn says they didn't so who is someone going to believe. I believe team AJ based on recent public statements made by Wilder such as they are begging me to fight AJ. How can AJ be begging Wilder to fight him and not want the fight? Wilder also said he and Fury are 1 and 2 and AJ is number 3 on the outside looking in and that he would fight Fury for the real heavyweight championship next and not AJ.

So you like time lines ?

April 3rd: "We want to make it public that Deontay wants the fight, and we are prepared to come over, or meet here and get the deal done. Deontay is ready to sign and come to the UK to fight this summer." S.Finkel

"Assuming it will be Wembley Stadium in the summer, we are ready, and if they are ready as they say they are, we want to get it done. We want the fight, they want the fight, the public wants the fight. There is nothing to stop it going ahead." S.finkel

      Nothing STOPPING it except.......

A smoke and Mirror counter offer below.....

Hearns own reasoning why the fight would have problems after the 50 million counter offer.

      Late April/May 2018

      1. The money is secure (Can Wilder's team prove they have a $50 million fee to guarantee?)

What Happened? This never happened and when it did it was BT sports who would be a breach of contract to joshuas own ties to sponsors /Sky sports etc....

      2. They receive a contract (Will Wilder's team follow up the email offer with a legitimate contract that reveals all the details in full?)

what Happened ? This also never happened and Ahearn was met with a cancelled meeting by Finkel anmd not a sentence about the stipulations of any formal paper work. When one is requested it is then supposed to be supplied in a formal contract outline.

      3. The venue is revealed (Where will the fight take place? Joshua and Hearn prefer fighting in UK stadiums)

What happened ? This also never happened but wasn't a deal breaker, only the continued circle jerk Finkel continued to use suggested they were trying to dictate the fight promotion and avoid to negotiiate the 12.5 first offer from Team Joshua.

      4. Can They can honour Joshua's existing rights deals (Joshua and Hearn's broadcaster has long been Sky Sports)

What happened? It was found out that the BT sports would be a direct violation to Joshuas existing contracts, for Finkel to include Warren in on this tells you he wasn't planning aJoshua fight anytime soon.

Theres no need to do a time line even though it shows how ****** Wilder is and how sneaky Finkel is.

The above 4 points were needed to go further with negotiations of finkels offer. In the end we know what happened wilder ducked Joshua in favor of a easier Fury fight ,the one he unofficialy lost but didn't get flattened like Joshua would do to him.

The negotiations stopped when Finkel said No to the agreed to contract of 15 Million.

      December 19th :

Wilder: No matter what Hearn offers, I’m fighting Fury next:

If you read the actual WBA statement, rather than ESPN's sloppy interpretation of it, you can see that was incorrect.

        WBA president Gilberto Mendoza:

"The WBA have allowed over a month extension to negotiations with Povetkin and also ongoing discussions with Deontay Wilder.

"It appears the Wilder team have not returned the contract for the fight and therefore we are requesting a date for the Joshua versus Povetkin fight with immediate effect."

The WBA ordered AJ to give them the date on which he intended to fight Povetkin. They did not order that contracts for the fight had to be signed within 24 hours.
That's how it was reported, and that's how it went into the timeline.

If you can find a link to the correction that clarifies things as you say, we will use that instead. You will note that Mendoza's own words are in the quote now being used in the timeline. If you don't find an alternate quote, we can bold them or italicize them for emphasis. Let me know.

Not so sure about the source since he doesn't seem to know who Al Haymon is. His facts seem OK tho, so I see no problem posting truthful content and adding it to the timeline.

                  lol what a pointless thread.
if this thread was going to ever be made, it should have been before Wilder came out and said Joshua's begging for a fight, but that he would not be fighting joshua no matter how much hearn offers.

nothing else matters at this point.

No, actually I asked what paragraphs from the article he wanted quoted and added.

But, see things how you will.

                      JUNE 12th 2018

Wilder’s manager, Shelly Finkel, echoed his fighters’s words, telling ESPN: "We have agreed to the terms that Eddie [Hearn] has put out to us for a fight in the UK.

Deontay sent an email to Joshua on Sunday night and I sent one today to Barry Hearn and Eddie telling them that we officially accept the offer to fight under the terms they gave us and to send us the contract."

"There's no [percentage] split, but they've offered us a good purse. Not as good as we feel it should be, but we want the fight and we're willing to take what they offered."

"We wanted a percentage, but we didn't think we could get it done in a quick time frame, so we said let's take what they've offered us. Deontay wants this fight."

I'll even give the troll a link below so he can still ignore this one like yours and claim its not valid because the editor didn't know finkel...lol

DEONTAY WILDER has cranked up the pressure on Anthony Joshua after publicly accepting the Briton’s offer to fight in the UK this year, just days after promoter Eddie Hearn suggested Alexander Povetkin now looked likely to face AJ next.
