Chavez, Jr. does not suck at boxing. He's just not his father.

When you have a father as famous as your dad, you can not fail anonymously.

We'll see. Usually sons aren't as great as their dads.

I suspect this might be the case for this young lad, we'll have to wait and see.
      Your mother is correct.

Hagler said "it's hard to get up early and train when you're sleeping in silk sheets" and that's for guys who came up poor and then made big money. These kids have only known big money. I've yet to see a second generation boxer come close to their fathers. Even if the skill is there, they don't know how to dig deep.

This right here, he achieved far more than alot of boxers who really give it a go at this sport.

He did well for himself but he will always be measured against his father and will never measure up so people will always call him a failure when that is far from teh truth.

The son of a millionaire boxing legend who came from humble beginnings will never have the same fight and struggle in him as his father had.

                  Kid won't make it

At this age Pacquiao was a starving kid of the streets sparring men getting his head knocked about.

To be the real deal in boxing you have to be willing to die in that ring. point blank period. When the going gets tough you have to have a mentality that there is no way out.

You can have all the skills in the world which will help you...but at some point you'll have to go go to that deep dark place.
