Lomachenko is an exception, because Loma is exceptional, and was much more mature when he started, and even he lost to Salido! However, Loma survived a loss to Salido, and Lopez will be OK if he lost to Loma! I think it should happen in 2019, but it probably won't!
Damn but it makes sense from a promoter's standpoint to slowly build one of your top prospects so yeah you right. Unlikely he gets to fight Loma anytime soon but you never know. If Lopez continues to impress and stops Magdaleno early in the fight, he might just get what he wished for which is a shot at a world title

After this it’s time for Haney to fight a top 10 contender!

Heck, have him fight Robert Easter jr! I think he can beat Easter!

This would be too good. I saw Easter throwing jabs at Mikey. He used his height pretty good too, Mikey forced the issue, but Easter adapted. I'm not convinced about Haney, and Burgos showed he's not a huge puncher.

Ever since I heard Haney tuned up Tank Davis in sparring, I thought wow, maybe this kid is good. Still so young but has a great future ahead of him, and they seem to be bringing him along at the right pace.

I'm very interested in watching "The Takeover!" I hope Bob allows it to happen! Who cares if Loma beats him? He's young, and still has time to become a star! That loss to Salido didn't stop Loma's rise to the top! Loma vs. Lopez! Make It Happen! Brooklyn, stand up!
