i dont think is charlo fans the one calling it exposed, they are the ones that gave him the hype... to me he just isnt as good as we tought, doesnt mean he is a bad fighter...
it was really hard to judge him before this fight due to the lack of opposition... not saying korobov is a top fighter at mw either, but him and washed up trout is the best he has faced..

Charlo was exposed as a hype job after being declared by the LDBC (Lions Den Boxing Cubs) as the middleweight boogie man, which Canelo and GGG were ducking.

      There.
If you use it in a sentence it has to make sense cuz Jermall was NOT "exposed" & Triple L's own team said they want no parts of the middleweight boogie man.

      There.

A fighter has an off night and people say they were exposed. People be calling Jacobs an elite MW, but I remember people calling him a bum and glass chinned. That he was exposed by Mora when Mora knocked him down. They were calling Jacobs overhyped when he couldn't finish and had dull fights against Arias and Sulecki. You could say Canelo was exposed by Floyd and Lara when they fought and couldn't cut off the ring. Top fighters will always end up in a tougher than expected fight in their career that wasn't expected. Look at Dogboe recently, he struggled and lost to a nobody from Mexico, someone he was supposed to beat.

          There.

Let me use it in another context OP, see it helps.

Charlo EXPOSED himself to J.Razor and J.Razor went to town.

Those were very poor examples. Let me help you out.

After fighting 36 low leveled opponents golovkin was exposed when he stepped up to fight good competition 3 times (Jacobs & Nelo twice) & failed to live up to the hype, hence Triple L.

For me, he was exposed and looked terrible against Fury.
So what YOU are trying to say is that YOU use it when it fits your narrative. Got it.

If Jermall had had the same fight against Monroe then maybe a case could be made. Korobov's performance was inspired, if he had trained for 12 with that same enthusiasm he might well have had a clear victory.
He was training, he was going to fight on the undercard & got bumped up to fight Jermall since Willie got hit with the PEDS's..
