Lol. Exactly. If you think wilder got exposed by fury you are really exposing your boxing knowledge and eye

To be exposed, means you were in a fight where you've shown to lack an ability that the majority of fans thought you had.

Good example: Adrien Broner was exposed against Marcos Maidana as it was discovered that he actually doesn't have the ability to box going backwards. He never had to at the lower weights because of his size and strength, but it was assumed by most that he had the ability simply based on his athleticism and hype. Since then, Broner has shown to always be more effective coming forward letting his hands go.

Bad example: People say Fury exposed Wilder's inability to box. That's wrong, as most people knew Wilder lacked boxing skills to begin with, especially when compared to someone like Tyson Fury. That fight went exactly how it was supposed to go. Either Fury gets knocked out or he wins with his boxing ability. No one was exposed in this fight.
Great post. I’ll add one, Mosley exposed Margarito. Just like Broner, Margs can’t fight off the back foot. He’s literally come forward or nothing. Shane exploited it by shoving Margs back. Cotto did the same in the rematch.

If Jermall had had the same fight against Monroe then maybe a case could be made. Korobov's performance was inspired, if he had trained for 12 with that same enthusiasm he might well have had a clear victory.
You make it sound like korobov is p4p lol, hes 44th in the world and got stopped by andy lee and not really ever done anything as a pro.

Great input. Using the term as defined

Whos he beat? He sc****d past a shopworn trout and got booed when the decision was announced. As far as im concerned his limitations were exposed against korobov and hes not the fighter his fans were hyping him to be.

I'm coming of the opinion that EVERY fighter should get robbed at some point in their career just so that the ****** fanboys can STFU about 0s on records and about guys being exposed.
