Comments Thread For: Mayweather, De La Hoya Continue Feud To Close Out 2018

2018 was filled with plenty of trash talk from active fighters. But retired fighters, now full-time promoters - Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya - traded heated words throughout the entire year. Mayweather and De La Hoya have had a hostile relationship since their record setting pay-per-view fight in 2007 - which Mayweather won by way of a twelve round split decision.

I'd imagine Oscar goes on massive coke binges and tells the tails of his fights in a acted out round by round recount. He'd he a fun dude to hang with, granted he shows up in trousers.

This is why Oscar shouldn't have made a gentlemans agreement with floyd when they fought.....Oscar clearly beat floyd but he didn't knock out floyd and I suspect that the gentlemans agreement stipulated that if OdlH didn't k.o. floyd, the fix was in for Oscar to lose but with a rematch clause via the gentlemans agreement ....the fix was in Oscar/floyd were gonna milk this for a while but floyd reneged on the gentlemans agreement since it wasn't on black and white....hence the bad blood since they can't expose the corruption that is in Boxing

How is anyone supposed to take you seriously when you post drivel like this?

Either, a) You’re a huge Oscar fan/Floyd hater and allow that to cloud your judgement, in which case it’s probably better you say nothing, or

              b) You genuinely think Oscar won. In which case you have no idea how to score a fight and again, should probably say nothing.

If you think Oscar hitting thin air and forearms for 12 rounds means he ‘clearly’ wins the fight then it’s actually pointless you being on this site at all.

Still scratching my head why on earth Oscar would be thinking about Mayweather on Christmas. He's really crazy.

I wonder why Oscar doesn't call out Floyd for a three rounder. Now I'd watch that if only to see him fall off his high heels and ladder his tights!
