Ioka is bigger than Palicte from the photos I've seen in Superfly 3.
Really? I thought ioka actually look a little fat coming from retirement and all but i guess its all about body types.

Well if you're testing the waters of a new division and immediately fighting someonw with juice in their hands even i would be cautious in the first couple of rounds.

      Look how Ioka handled Arroyo.

Meanwhile Nietes struggled with Palicte who supposed to be levels below Nietes.

Ioka whooped arroyo's ass thats for sure but then i didn't really expect arroyo to win. It may have only been a bit shocking to some since arroyo beat cuadras who i also think may have already slipped courtesy of his previous wars with choco, carmona and estrada.

I think palicte was just severely underestimated by many. I for one thought that he'll be a legit threat. He would've been dominated if he was truly levels below but he made the fight competetive( but i still think nietes won) which says a lot. That or nietes really may have trouble having success in 115.

We will only know how the fight will unfold on fight night itself cause everybody can have an off night. Our predictions is just that. Predictions.

From watching the Ioka-arroyo card a few months back, this is a MUCH tougher fight for Nietes than palicte. dam man, Donnie is a bad mother. if he wins is gonz next?

Nietes is a cagey veteran and he will have to pull out all the tricks just to stay up for 12 rounds. Ioka is younger, bigger and has beaten better competition.

Ioka by slow beating or late KO

With Nietes being more comfortable with the weight, he would be more dangerous this time.

Palicte is 5'7"-8", he's a weight bully at superfly/Jr Bantam. Did you see how big he was during the fight? Probably around 130-135. Ioka is only a couple inches taller than Nietes and started at 105. Nothing that Nietes should be intimidated about.

legacy fight for both... truly a good matchup.
Maybe the winner can face Estrada eventually.

As Rungvisai vs Ancajas might face each other?
