He was supposed to be the guy to pick up the torch at WW..and he did.... then went on some Osama level hiding and resurfaced with Josesito Lopez who I wasnt even aware fought still..much less against top comp.

Thurman is fighting in Jan. I don't see why he can't have three fights this year especially if he starches Lopez early. Fight two decent fighters then a big fight at end of year.

If Thurman can beat Pacman and Porter this year, Thurman vs Spence would be a true mega fight in 2020, with potential to do great PPV numbers AND create a new superstar in the sport.

I say boxing can be irritating to follow and I stick by it. However even though I gripe and complain, I still love the sport dearly. Still has that magic on those nights where everything comes together.

I honestly stopped "loving" boxing after Mayweather-Pacquiao concluded. Fighters are demanding ridiculous money now.
