He’s exaggerating but it was literally like 650 missed pubches. Give or take a few.

Danny didnt beat GGG and the knockdown didnt help his cause at all.

Danny outlanded him in power shots in total but only in (I could be wrong here) like 7 of the rounds I believe with a few of those only being a difference of 1 power shot but he was in turn hit with jabs at a 3-1 or 4-1 ratio in some rounds...AND he got dropped.

Canelo landed more punches than Danny at a higher percentage in addition to making GGG land at a *significantly*lower clip. From memory, GGG was close to 40% (???) in accuracy vs Danny.


In the Canelo fight, there were actual rounds where he was legitimately beating GGG up and he landed the better shots to both the head and body throughout the fight.

Danny had some GOOD rounds but that’s it. You cant get both out worked, out boxed, AND dropped. Jacobs did really well through moments in the fight but it just wasn’t enough and he let GGG be too effective and steady.

Both fights were much different.
It’s not enough to just do really well in 5 rounds but lose the others and get dropped. No one is getting that victory (legitimately).

the Jacobs-GGG fight was competitive but clear, at least to me.
