Andrade is WBO MW Champ, and Jacobs is IBF MW Champ. I don't have a problem with Canelo unifying with either one of them! GGG is NOT a champion! Add to that, the WBC ordered GGG to fight Charlo in a final eliminator, and he declined! If Canelo is going to fight someone without a title, it has be Jermall Charlo, who has been the WBC interim champion since April! If Canelo fights anyone who is NOT a champion, the WBC must strip him!

As far as Charlo vs. Korobov, I have to respectfully disagree! Korobov did well, but not good enough to win! Charlo doesn't shine as well vs. southpaws! Andrade and Saunders should be seriously considering challenging him!

GGG deserves a rematch more than anyone deserves a shot who isn’t a “belt holder”.

The wbc will NEEEVER strip Canelo for Charlo. Jermall is legitimately the least deserving of a shot at Canelo and making that fight isnt going to be as easy as Danny or GGG nor will it sell.

Think the WBC will tell Canelo what to do when the amount of money he’s bringing them in one fight is the equivalent of 10 from one of the others? After this past fight and his lack of a stellar resume, I personally am no longer interested in tht fight and I doubt anyone else is either.

Id literally rather see close to 10 fights before that fight at this point. And the wbc’s pockets do too.

Rob Brant is the 160 WBA regular champion, he is technically the mandatory
To Canelo but so is Lemieux w/t his victory against Spike he also became one of Canelo’s mandatories for the WBA. Canelo can push back any mandatories as long as he’s fighting a unification bout which Jacobs would be since he’s the champ @ 160 for the IBF.

I doubt they’ll bring Lemieux back in at 160 at a shot at Canelo. Too big of an event to risk getting cancelled. probably just fights him at a catchweight for that reg title at 68.

It's crazy how people on this thread write off Jacobs as having no shot. They may have a point though, hard to beat a steroid user who's team constantly pays off the judges. Canelo lost to triple G in their first fight, whoever doesn't believe that is either being paid off by Golden boy, or just a delusional fan boy. Danny gave triple G more of a fight and had more claim to a triple G win than Canelo in the first fight.
