Hurd doesn't stand a chance. He's insanely unpolished and wont have a size advantage against Canelo. He's a strong kid so has a puncher's chance, but that's about it.

If Hurd is physically stronger than Canelo and that's not a given, he would have to rough Canelo up on the inside. Can he do it. Probably not. He can't out box Canelo and not likely to knock him down. He has to suck it up get inside and hope he can wear Canelo out.

Would be fun stylistically but Canelo beats him right now. I do think Hurd would be better at 160, he cuts A LOT of weight to make 154.

Canelo would destroy Hurd. Imagine Canelo hitting Hurd with the same punches Welborn did. Having a great chin only takes you so far.

I can see a Kirkland type ending happening in favor of canelo or stoppage after Hurd stops throwing due to canelo constantly connecting at will.
