Why on earth would Horn waste his time with this sour Mundane idiot, when he could be paid good money by chasing a Commonwealth title fight.

The Hornet! There is no denying it. Horn beat Pac up and took his belt. Pac could have had a rematch for a real title. Except Pac knew he is no match for The Hornet. Did you see Pac's face after 12 rounds with The Hornet? Did you? He needed over a year before he could fight again, because it took that long for his face to heal up. And he ran away, saying he doesn't want to try for a real title if it means getting back in the ring with Mr. Horn.

Those are all cold, hard facts. I'm not taking anything away for Manny, he was a legend and still is decent to good. It's just he is smart enough to realize that The Hornet is too big and too skilled for him. I give Manny props for realizing this. Idiots like Mundine want more brain damage, but Manny realized who the better fighter is.

Excuses are not reasons, the reason is obvious to anyone who does not idolise Packy and can't think past that obsession. Whatever anyone thinks of the result Horn gave him a rough time when Packy is nearing retirement and wants to make the most money at the least risk to himself.

There will be no second edition, the first one happened because both boxers wanted it to happen, there was bit bit of boxing history involved with the old guard/new guard thing plus there was enough public interest to make it viable. Horn is now seriously looking forward to another championship, maybe a warm up fight followed by one against Jarret Hurd will happen.

There is no need for an excuse. Pac almost stopped Horn on top of almost out landing him 2 to 1. Go look at the scoring of everyone with any credibility at all outside of the official judges. It was a complete robbery and it's a known thing.
