Davis is a great talent and it will always be up to him how he decides or who he keeps company with but if he chooses to be great the kid has the skill set and I have seen them all, in 40 years of being in the sport. He’s got many haters due to his troubles but they will be fans to if somehow he matures and pull it all together. I’m rooting for this kid!

He needs to talk less, train more and stop fighting bums. Then we may expect him to be able to become great.

The WBA should stop playing these games and give Alberto Machado back his belt. How the fuck did he even lose it in the first place? He beat Jezreel Corrales, then all of a sudden his belt was vacant. Gervonta Davis has Tevin Farmer and Alberto Machado willing to fight him, yet Abner Mares is the guy he wants to fight? The same Abner Mares who got whooped by Santa Cruz earlier this year, hasn't fought anyone else since and has a 48% KO rate at 126? If Floyd Mayweather thinks Mares is gonna prepare Davis for the champions at 130, then he's in for a rude awakening.

Tank vs Mares is a bad fight. Tank should fight Machado next then Loma.
