Canelo fought a better Trout in his prime even before the Floyd loss when he was green and still beat Trout better LOL. Canelo would murder Trout right now
Can't remember seeing Charlo make Trout do the stanky leg...so who really got more power ?Last edited by DuckAdonis; 12-23-2018, 02:44 PM.Comment

Canelo was only 23 against the best version of Trout and handled him like a sparring partner. Took away his power punches and reduced him to a half assed arm puncher while countering him hard, flush shots when he'd try opening up. Keep in mind there was open scoring in that fight so Canelo was coasting in some of those rounds knowing he had a lead after the kd. Trout himself conceded defeat in the immediate post fight interview, describing Canelo as having a better defense than he anticipated. It's been the same pattern with many other fighters who have stepped into the ring with him.
Meanwhile, a Trout with more wear and tear gave a good account of himself mixing it up with Charlo and had success countering him flush.Comment

Andy Lee Korobo stoppage was similar to Charlo Korobov 12th round.
It was ridiculously early. Korobov was never down. Didn't even keel over.
Lee was outboxed every second of every round leading up to. Charlo won some rounds at least.

A common opponent is only a good measure of skills if boxers always stayed the same and never improved or got worse. Canelo fought a young champion Trout who had never lost a fight or been knocked down as a pro and was coming fresh off a career best win over Cotto. Three years later Jermall fought an older and much worse Trout who had been defeated and almost KOed by Canelo and badly beaten and knocked down by Lara. Canelo has improved tremendously since fighting Trout while Jermall doesn't seem any better. Trout didn't beat Canelo and Canelo damn near chased Lara out of the ring. You just seem to want to say Canelo lost fights that the big majority of viewers think he won. You are actually trying to make a case for Jermall beating Canelo after Canelo's amazing slaughter of Fielding and Jermall's very poor showing in just barely beating an unknown and unranked 35 year old Korobov. We all know Fielding wasn't the best 168 pounder in the world but he is ranked in the top 10 at super middleweight by Ring, Boxrec and everyone else. Korobov is ranked as the 54th best middleweight by boxrec and not ranked at all by anybody else. If Canelo was fighting Jermall next he would be a big betting favorite based on very recent fights which is far more important than how Canelo did against Trout in 2013 and how Jermall did against Trout in 2016. Nice try though.Canelo and Charlo have a common opponent. Trout is a good gage for their skill levels.
Who beat Trout more convincingly? I don't believe anybody arguing that Trout beat Charlo. However, Trout did beat Canelo imo.
Also another Southpaw also beat Canelo at a lower weight named Lara.
Let's not forget.Comment

If you honestly think Jermall can beat Canelo you should find a new sport because you don't seem to know or understand boxing. If Jermall just barely beat Korobov how in the ***ing hell is he going to beat an iron jawed, body killing, fast hard combination punching monster called Canelo?Comment
