The reality is they tried to bully Wilder in negotiations and are too scared to even consider fighting Fury. So Wilder, wanting to prove himself the best, got tied up with Fury. Now AJ has been left with no major dance partners, so they have no choice but AJ-Whyte II. What other fights are there really? AJ-Miller in the US? AJ-Usyk would be too soon. To be honest I'd rather see AJ-Pulev to get rid of the mandatory, with Miller-Whyte as the co-feature. Winner of that can be AJ's next opponent.
