Davis hasn’t fought elite level anything yet.
He has what looks like power but can be hard to tell if it’s genuine because he’s been able to hit lesser opponents clean. Loma in my view was complete a long time ago, he’s got the art to a fine art.
Category elite: stratosphere and flies alone.
Definitely. Lomas a bad dude. Skills!! Davis is a good fighter though. Hes being groomed as a Champ..putting him in against different styles, experienced vets, ex champs, etc. Seems to look good so far.. I'm expecting a push from his team if he gets by Mares impressively. With his amateur background, Lomas ahead in terms of development . So both are at different areas in their respective careers, lomas already up there while Tank is just getting there.

Bread’s Response: "I think Canelo will fight them all if they are viable when the time is right. Canelo can only fight one person at a time. And he will only fight two or three times a year tops. So while he’s fighting the other guys have to make themselves viable. They can’t just sit around and wait. The key to getting a BIG fight, is winning a fight that makes the public believe you deserve the BIG one.

Canelo’s potential opponents should start targeting each other. If they do that they eliminate the competition for the big fight."

Someone tell this to the softboi gang Charlos and Andrade. It's like we're in middle School, circled around them, chanting fight fight fight. But they're just standing there holding hands whispering sweet fearful things into each other's ears.

If done right Charlo fights GGG. Winner gets Canelo in Sept. If GGG dont want it then Charlo is automatically #1. And they need to negotiate for Sept. Or May of 2020...

And Canelo fighting Jacobs and GGG/Charlo would be fair for a Sept. Fight as winners ALL fought a great opponent. If Canelo fights Jacobs in May and both Charlo/GGG continue with tuneups then they BOTH can wait until 2020.

I think Jacob's gets the Canelo fight next as well... despite the "but Oscar said" comments which were taken completely out of context. And lately I've singing a similar tune about potential Canelo opponents facing each other , eliminating the comp instead of waiting .

I may have to write in sometime, Bead. Keep it up.
100% its Jacobs next. You cant do a big fight on Cinco De Mayo without him. NO one wants to see Lesuks! Got SCHOOLED by Saunders and ANOTHER fkn failed weight...Canelo will lose a SHT ton of fans if he pulls that sht. We WANT who EARNED it!!

yea, hes the only one who deserves Canelo period

and that is an intriguing fight

Personally I want Cancharlo but that can marinate until Charlo quits sitting on his ass fighting Gimbs and BUMS!!! Fight ggg or make GGG admit Charlo is WBC #1. Then give me Cancharlo

This is funny. Canelo is a killer! Really? Who did he kill? Hearn's stable? Nobody knew "Rocky" before he got the call. Khan had to pig out for his shot, and poor Liam was weight bullied. Nobody knows what Canelo weighed or took for that fight. For the record, Canelo did not kill Lara, Chavez, GGG, just the over matched.

Fans rarely agree on anything on this site but it seems that most agree that Canelo vs jacobs should be next. If we end up with some garbage like Canelo vs lemieux, I don't expect to hear many excuses from the Canelo faithful but there's really no way to justify that match up.

If that fight happens next I won't even bother watching lemule get kod, NOBODY wants to see Canelo vs a can on may 5. Jacobs/Andrade/Charlo/Zurdo/Smith would make me ok with whoever he faces in Sep,that would still mean hes facing the biggest names far more often than the other "names" between 154-168 & its ****** to face 2 "killers" in a row, even though I think Andrades B level & would be an easy ko for Canelo
