Prime Haye would've beaten the current AJ. But AJ is still improving every fight and I don't believe he's peaked yet so hard to say who'd win the prime vs prime battle.

Yeah he would have had a good shot, would have been interesting but like others have said, Joshua is still improving

Haye definitely had the style to make AJ pay for missing punches.

Sadly I agree, but I think AJ would make Haye look silly, but if he connected one in the late rounds. When the bodybuilding of AJ took over his stamina.

Deluded...who has Haye beaten to suggest that he could destroy a proven Heavyweight champ. Klitschko beat his ass up. Haye relied on his reflexes way too much. Usyk would beat his ass too

Nothing Haye has done at heavyweight makes me think this is true.

Haye has one of the weakest ever titlists, Valuev and a string of bad level defences.

AJ has two real titles, two title scalps, plus some bad defences and the odd good one.

Haye would clown AJ fora few rounds but get caught unless he plays defensive..which he likely would. And that would lose him the fight, plus another toegate I expect.

He would have no question about it. Moved around great, making AJ look like a big stiff idiot, then caught him. Actually wouldn't have been much different than Haye-Valuev.

**** you guys and **** David Haye too.

I don't much care for old men trying to take away from kids while the kids build their legacies. David's legend is done and in the books and ain't really much of nothing can change how people feel about it right now. Joshua is building his and should be able to without his countrymen telling folks to remember when they weren't old.

We in the US do that every generation. Damn near everyone of the great American HWs in history was hated by America before they were loved and you know why? Because we're always scoffing and saying this generation or star of the gen is not as good as last generation and its stars. We've got over a hundred years of history doing that garbage and it ain't helpful to no one.

We have never had an analog to Joshua and probably never will. The rise, the love, the excitement, that's the UK's boxing scene, American can't do it, we lack the culture and have a very different, hateful, culture instead. Y'all should be telling Haye to shut his hole on principle. That sort of talk is for off camera and in a room of only brits.

Also, what the damn hell? Are we claiming Haye was old when Wlad toed him all night or are we claiming Joshua wouldn't have beaten Wlad at any point in Wlad's career?
